Addiction

play your drums. there are thousands of people to be awaken.
play your saxophone. music is something that can't be taken;
only eaten and loved. save your innocent face expressions,
cause the audience is here just to worship your jamming sessions

play your piano. they'll eat every part of it, so no worries
then they'll speak of it (friends have to listen to all those stories)
it can take them away — it can leave them and hit with sorrow,
it can make them rethink what to do with their best tomorrow

play your flute. be the one of those huge charismatic creatures,
almost god-like, with all those extravagant hidden features
be the outcome of all the solutions they will be sharing
be their best of illusions that someone is really caring —

they will not realize that there's no one — it's just the music,
that's the only addiction to which you are always losing
that's the ultimate illness to which there's no single cure
that's the only religion that's conscious, precise and pure
